During the 2004 Iowa caucuses, we got a call from Washington D.C. because a certain candidate needed a grip and a gaffer to round out his production crew. They liked us so much that we got hired again a few days later, only this time they also wanted an audio guy and a make-up artist. Now we don't have a make-up artist on staff, but we knew where to find one because we are connected!
